Profile

Charlotte is a Research Associate on the CoWORK Project within the Sheffield University Management School, which is focused on designing, implementing and evaluating compassionate workplaces in partnership with 8 international partner organisations.

Charlotte completed her PhD at Northumbria University and has previously worked as an Associate Lecturer at Northumbria University and a Lecturer at Arden University. Her work to date has primarily focused on workplace wellbeing, workplace bullying, the use of realist research within intervention work, and neurodiversity within the workplace.

Teaching interests

Charlotte has been teaching at Universities since 2019, and prior to this was a teaching assistant within secondary education. It is highly important for Charlotte to ensure that teaching is accessible for all students, and draws on her knowledge and experience from previous employment within schools and the National Autistic Society to ensure this. She was nominated for a Student-Led Teaching Award in 2022 for her engaging and inclusive approach to teaching at Northumbria University, prior to moving to Sheffield University.

Charlotte has experience teaching on both undergraduate and postgraduate modules in both a face-to-face and online-learning capacity. She has previously led modules focused around the following topics:
