Resources for Higher Education Guidance Programmes
The following resources are available for Schools and Colleges to incorporate into their existing Higher Education Guidance Programmes.
We aim to provide students with a broad range of information about the different types of courses and Institutions that are available, without the need for a range of individual speakers.
Unless specifically requested otherwise, our sessions focus on Higher Education in general and are not specific to the University of Sheffield. This approach is offered in conjunction with our HELOA (Higher Education Liaison Officers' Association) colleagues from other Institutions, and recognises the current pressures on the school timetable.
Presentations on Higher Education
We are able to provide talks to students in Y11-13 (or college equivalent) and parents on a wide range of themes related to University and Higher Education. For more information about the types of presentations and talks that we can offer, please click on the link below, or alternatively complete our Presentation Request Form.

Campus Visits
As well as being able to provide a range of talks and activities at your school or college, we are also able to offer a wide range of activities and interactive workshops on campus. If you are interested in bringing a school group to the University, but are unsure of what we can offer, then check out our range of activities from the link below, or complete our Campus Visit Request Form.
Equally, if you would like to bring a group of pupils from your school to attend an Open Day, then please email ukrec@sheffield.ac.uk or telephone 0114 222 1241.

Careers Conventions and HE Information Days/Evenings
If your School or College are organising a careers or Higher Education event and would like representation from The University of Sheffield, please send an email to ukrec@sheffield.ac.uk.
The team also attend a large number of Higher Education conventions throughout the academic year. The events give students a great opportunity to speak to our University staff about courses, the University and all things related to higher education.
