Biography
I joined HEDS in March 2010 after completing a MASc from the University of Toronto and a PhD from the University of Southampton. My PhD thesis was on simulation based cost-effectiveness modelling of aircraft.
Research interests
My research interests are:
- Cost-effectiveness modelling
- Discrete event simulation
- Optimisation
- Multi-criteria decision analysis
- Healthcare modelling
- Decision support systems
Teaching interests
My teaching interests are:
- HAR671 - OR Techniques in Health Resource Allocation
- HAR672 - Advanced Simulation Methods
Professional activities
I have undertaken assessment of the economic model submitted by the manufacturer of donepezil for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease as part of the DSU project.
Current projects
I am currently working on the following projects:
- Modelling generic type-1 diabetes model to estimate the cost-effectiveness of Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating (DAFNE) and other interventions
- Assessment of the economic model submitted by the manufacturer of cladribine for the treatment of multiple sclerosis
