The University offers a range of scholarships for Taiwanese students of high academic standing commencing a postgraduate Taught Masters programme at the University of Sheffield in September 2012.

Taiwan Sheffield Postgraduate Scholarships 2012

We are pleased to offer the Taiwan Sheffield Postgraduate Scholarship 2012 to all students from Taiwan commencing a Taught Masters programme in the Faculties of Engineering, Pure Science and the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in September 2012.

Taiwan Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2012 (£6,500)

There is one Taiwan Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2012, available for Taiwanese students starting their postgraduate taught masters programme in September 2012.

The scholarship is worth £6,500 of your postgraduate taught masters degree tuition fee per year, for one year of study. The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.

To be eligible for the Taiwan Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2012 (£6,500), applicants must be a Taiwanese national or permanently domiciled in Taiwan, apply for a study place by Friday 22 June 2012 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2012. The deadline for applications is Friday 29 June 2012 and results will be announced by Friday July 27 2012.

The Taiwan Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2012 (£6,500) is awarded on the basis of academic merit.

If you wish to be considered for this scholarship you need to apply. Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply from January 2012 onwards.

Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.

MBA International Scholarship 2012 (£5,000)

We are pleased to offer a small number of MBA Scholarships to Taiwanese MBA students starting their studies in the Management School in September 2012.

Each Scholarship is worth £5,000 of your postgraduate taught masters degree tuition fee per year, for one year of study. The scholarships will take the form of a fee reduction.

To be eligible for the Scholarships, applicants be a Taiwan national or permanently domiciled in Taiwan. Applicants must apply for and hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a full-time study place on the MBA course for entry in September 2012. Applicants must have the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary to make an excellent contribution to the programme.

The MBA International Scholarship 2012 are awarded on the basis of academic merit.

If you wish to be considered for this scholarship you need to apply.  Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply.

Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.

The deadline for applications is Thursday 31 May 2012; scholarship winners will receive notification before 31 July 2012. Please note the scholarship will only be valid when the student has met all entry requirements for the MBA programme.

University of Sheffield and UKEAS Taiwan Joint Scholarship 2012

The University of Sheffield and UKEAS Taiwan are delighted to offer a joint scholarship exclusively for students from Taiwan.

This scholarship is worth £2000 towards the cost of tuition fees, for one year of study. The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
