Four of our Mechanical Engineering students were recently recognised for their contributions to our Department and University at the University's 'Inspiring Student Worker' awards.
Alex, Gabi, Kai and Matt were all nominated in the Significant Contribution Award category which recognises students who have had a significant positive impact, going beyond expectations, sharing their knowledge and learning, and taking on additional tasks and challenges.
Laura Ballaam, our Student Recruitment Officer, commented "they carry our their Student Ambassador roles with such enthusiasm and passion and are great advocates for our department. It's a pleasure to work alongside them at events such as our Open and Applicant Days where they can always be relied upon to be honest and open with applicants about their experiences here in Sheffield."
We're proud of the individual contributions which each of these four students make, alongside our wider team of student ambassadors, to the life of our Department and they are an important part of our Mechanical Engineering community. Congratulations to them all.
