Accommodation

Award-winning accommodation to suit all tastes

Living away from home for the first time is one of the major transitions you’ll make when coming to university. For this reason, all single first year undergraduates are guaranteed a place in University of Sheffield-managed accommodation, provided you have accepted your university place as firm choice by the July of the year of your admission.

Over 90 per cent of all undergraduate first year students choose to live in University-owned accommodation and there is a great variety on offer – ranging from modern purpose-built flats to converted Victorian town houses.

For students studying at postgraduate level, there is a wide range of options for accommodation. Find out everything you'll need to know here.
