Profile

Junzhe joined Sheffield University Management School as a lecturer in international business in 2017.

He had worked for years at Tongji University in Shanghai, China after receiving his PhD in management studies from Glasgow University Business School.

He currently works as IB/IM (international business/international management) track co-chair, British Academy of Management.

His paper "Does Confucian Dynamism Complement the OLI Framework? A Study of Chinese Private Firms", coauthored with Prof. Pavlos Dimitratos, won EIBA (European International Business Academy) Award on Best Paper on Emerging Markets in the 36th European International Business Academy Annual Conference, 2010, Porto.

Research interests

His research interests cover international decision-making, the deviant behaviors of Chinese SME owners, and cultural studies.

Teaching activities

For the second semester of Year 2016/2017, he co-teaches the module MGT6052 International Business Strategy. He enjoys interactions with students in teaching, and appreciate innovative ideas generated from this process.
