Matlab Toolboxes
| Having joined the Matlab Licence Sharing Scheme, you may also wish to use Matlab toolboxes. CiCS buys and maintains Matlab toolbox licenses on behalf of users and delivers them over the network in the same way as Matlab licenses. The Matlab command ver lists the toolboxes that are available in your current Matlab installation. See the link box for a full list of all Toolboxes available for purchase. Most toolboxes supplied by CiCS under the floating licence cost £170 each (£180 for standalone copies). A few cost £430 (£450 if standalone). In each case, there is an annual maintenance fee (currently £40) which is due each subsequent January for the new calendar year. A more comprehensive price list is available via the link to the Mathworks Academic Price list. For an additional charge, toolbox licences can be locked to a specified set of workstations or to user_names, to ensure continued availability. To Order Matlab ToolboxesAs with Matlab, you can order Toolboxes by sending an Internal Trade Order to vendor 9022. Please state the toolboxes you need, the platform you are using (i.e Windows Mac, Linux or Solaris), and any special requirements such as locking onto specific workstation It is essential that you supply the user's name and email address in the Vendor Text of the Internal Trade Order, so we can contact all Matlab users when updates become available.
