The workshop offers extensive support for teaching, research and commercial activities for both University Departments and external customers. The services offered are varied and diverse ranging from mechanical engineering to refrigeration encompassing design, development, manufacture and repair of a wide variety of equipment and research apparatus. Specific services offered are:

• Liquid Gas Dewar Repair and Testing
• Training Courses

The Portable Appliance Testing service (PAT testing) has been transferred to Safety Services.
