Safeguarding Children Course

The scheme runs a full day child protection course for trainees on the Sheffield GP Speciality Training Programme every year.

If you have already attended a child protection training day you do not need to attend again.

This course is only open to Sheffield GPSTP trainees.

Places are limited, you must book a place to attend. Contact Sue Gumley to book a place.

Reading Material

Prior to attending the course;

Please make sure you have completed the e-learning module and emailed the certificate to the GPSTP office. You will not be able to do the course without undertaking the module.

You also need to read through the pre course reading before attending.

After the course;

Please read through the Post Course reading.

A certificate of attendance and your facilitators comments will be emailed to you shortly after the course.
