Who are the Student Officers?
The student officers are eight students, elected by the whole student population, who work full time at the Students' Union for a year.

Students' Union Council Update
The final meeting of Students' Union Council for this academic year will be on Thursday 16th May (1715 in the Tapestry Room, Firth Court). At this meeting your Students' Union Council will discuss:
- Final updates from the SU Officers on what they have achieved this year
- The next steps for reviewing the positions & responsibilities on the SU Officer team
- A new policy on making sure SU food is clearly labeled for different dietary needs
- The 2013/14 SU budget

What is Students' Union Policy?
The policies of the Students' Union are a statement of the beliefs of the organisation on key issues. They can be a statement of the Students' Union’s position or a commitment to doing things a certain way or to campaign on a particular issue.
What is a Referendum?
Referenda are the way that we make big decisions about the future of the Students' Union. They are a vote of all students on a single question.
