Hi Everyone,

My name is Kat and I am YOUR geography councillor for 2011/2012!! :)

I am a third year Human Geography student here at Sheffield.

If you have ANY problems big or small about the Geography department or about the union, please do not hesitate to contact me! 

As part of my role as Geography Councillor I attend regular meetings with the rest of Union Council and the Officers, I also attend the course rep meetings with staff and students from the Geography department.

This year I have been lucky enough to be elected Vice-Chair of council, this role includes attending pre meets about the agenda and checking everyone is getting heard! 

Latest Updates

This weeks meeting saw Poppy Nobes our English language and literature Councillor bring about change by getting the constitional committee to re-think the voting system for dual students. Dual students may soon be able to vote for both departmental councillors in next years elections!
