I am currently making a box for you all to post anonymous comments/suggestions/issues about the department. It will go in the undergrad common room and I will check them on a weekly basis!

Communications between Student - Student and Staff - Student are struggling, with people from across the department not knowing each other, and a large number of students lacking the confidence to speak to staff. To help solve this (quite big) issue I am working with Course Reps to create a School of East Asian Studies Departmental Society with the aim of improving communications between students.
