Who are the Student Officers?
The student officers are eight students, elected by the whole student population, who work full time at the Students' Union for a year.
Officer Roles Review
The Officer Roles Review Select Committee made a number of recommendations for changes to Officers' roles and these recommendations were agreed by Students' Union Council on 7 April 2011. In particular it was agreed to change the name of the Finance Officer post and the role of the Women's Officer. It was also agreed to review the job descriptions of all of the Officer roles.
This year's Students' Union Council & Community Development Committee Elections have now closed. The results for this review, which was part of the election process, are as follows:
