Students' Union Development Officer (2011/12 Finance Officer Harry Horton)

Key responsibilities include, to:

• Represent students' views and interests on the Students' Union's commercial services and facilities, and work with their departments to develop new ideas and initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the Students' Union's expenditure, budgets and accounts.
• Lead the Students' Union's work on innovation, new services and income streams.
• Coordinate and lead the Students' Union's work on student-led businesses and enterprise.
• Work as part of the Students' Union Officer team to represent and campaign for students of the University and guide the direction of the Students' Union

The Students' Union Development Officer is also responsible for liaising with NUS Services Ltd and external affiliations and upholding our Alcohol and Responsible Retailing, Ethical and Environmental, and Fairtrade Policies.
