The student officers are eight students, elected by the whole student population, who work full time at the Students' Union for a year.
From 10:00 Monday 25th February until 17:00 Thursday 28th February, you can vote for who you want to represent Geography students on Students' Union Council.

Students' Union Council is the main decision making body in the Students' Union. It has the power to make decisions about Students' Union policy, to put proposals to referenda (to be voted on by all students), and to oversee the work of, and mandate, the Student Officers.
Each of the 46 departments has an elected councillor, as well as the 8 student representative groups (LGBT, women, black students, students with disabilities, PGT, PGR and international).
Students' Union Council meets every other Thursday at 5:15pm in the Tapestry Room, Firth Court.
