Who are the Student Officers?
The student officers are eight students, elected by the whole student population, who work full time at the Students' Union for a year.

How can I use a Rep?
Course Reps regularly attend meetings with your department so have the opportunity to talk to senior staff about issues and ideas that you have relating to your course. It can be difficult to know what is appropriate to talk to your Course Rep about but they are able to point you in the right direction if it is not appropriate for them to raise with staff.
Examples of issues that you raise with your Course Rep:
- Availability of core text books in library.
- Assessment methods and schedules.
- Feedback.
- Lecture Materials.
