Who are the Student Officers?
The student officers are eight students, elected by the whole student population, who work full time at the Students' Union for a year.
University Code of Practice Relating to the Students' Union
The University is required to publish a Code of Practice which sets out how the University meets it's obligations under the Education Act 1994 in relation to the operation of the Students' Union.
There are 8 main areas covered in the Code of Practice relating to the Students' Union which are Constitution, Membership, Elections, Finance, Affiliations and Donations, Complaints Procedure, Charity Law and Freedom of Speech.
