Postgraduate Study Work Scheme Seminar

A specialist seminar has been organised by the Union’s Student Advice Centre to explain the latest schemes to remain in the UK to work after your studies. Jo Holliday, International Student Adviser from the Student Advice Centre will cover both the Tier 1 General (Highly Skilled) and Post Study Work categories. No need to book in advance – just turn up at 5.15!

Chocolate Treat for Ladies!

3pm Wednesday, Cocoa (462 Ecclesall Road)
Handmade local truffles, old fashioned sweets, 25 different types of loose-leaf teas and thick Belgian hot chocolates! This will be a mid-week treat for women only that work hard and need pampering, hosted by the lovely Chaplaincy girls, Asha and Jelly. Cocoa is a beautiful Chocolate boutique and tea lounge that every lady should experience. A team will be walking to Cocoa from the Union so please RSVP to j.morgans@shef.ac.uk.

A chance to try some delicious Persian food relax in a warm Middle Eastern atmosphere. As Sheffield's only Persian restaurant, Shiraz comes highly recommended. A trip for animal lovers to Sheffield’s favourite farm in the heart of the city! There are lots of friendly animals to see (and a few grumpy ones, including Elvis the goat). As a family-friendly farm, there is also a playground so if you have children why not bring them along? Hosted by the Chaplaincy team, we are meeting at Arundel Gate bus station at 12pm so we can travel together. Look out for two lovely ladies in red t-shirts with a Chaplaincy banner.
