This will be achieved by:
- Devoting space to representation within the Students' Union building and other buildings on campus to improve the visibility of the work and outcomes of representatives.
- Developing new ways of engaging students with the representation work of the Students' Union by simplifying the representation structures, ensuring the work of the representatives reflects the issues facing our students, raising the profile of representation as a core function of the Students' Union.
- Finding ways of rewarding representatives for the work they do.
- Ensuring representation and representative roles are clearly understood by all members and staff of the Students' Union.
- Ensuring that it is as easy as possible for the student voice to be heard by creating clear and effective representation roles and structures for the Students' Union and beyond.
- Strengthening support for all representatives.
- Identifying and removing any obstacles to becoming a representative and improve their communication with constituents.
