I have been a student at the University for four years, and realise the importance of the SU council. Like all groups it’s vital that postgraduate students have their needs represented. If elected I will:
I have a lot of experience within the Union and NUS, and so I am an excellent candidate.
TAUGHT POSTGRADUATES OF THE WORLD UNITE!
Being a PG is like choosing the present on your beloved ones birthday. Although it takes lots of time and efforts, it’s the joy of personal fulfilment and the contribution to making someone’s life better that you get at the end of the day. Could this time of your life become the most rewarding and exciting ever? More socials, more ideas, more working experiences for PostGrads - and no more feeling at the back seat of the students’ 39; community! It’s only YOU who can make the most of your Postgraduate degree!
Truthfully, Sasha
I am Dr Ezeanyika Chinonso Stanley ,a Nigerian. I have served as a class rep, president. Also as speaker of Nigerian intern officers.
We as post-graduates can achieve a lot if we stay together. Give me the opportunity to serve you-that we receive every benefit we are due to organize ourselves leaving behind an unfailing legacy for those to follow after us
Let us bring alive the post-graduate cause ,make our voice heard, and provide the best social atmosphere this academic year. We will work together to do this
I need your votes
Thank you
I’m standing because I think Union Council needs more Labour supporting members! The Labour Party is easily the best party in Britain, without it we wouldn’t have the NHS, properly funded Universities, the minimum wage, civil partnerships, the Open University, devolution, free theatre tickets for under 26 year olds and lots more! Not to mention that as everybody knows Gordon Brown has saved the world’s financial system in the last year. Basically we’re better than the do-nothing Tories and the flip-flopping Liberal Democrats!
So Love Labour, Love Gordon and vote Jacob!!!
Will be the person on whom everyone can count on.!!!
Aspire to be helpful to the best of my abilities for the up coming international students planning to join University of Sheffield.
Will be a team worker and will lead by example.
Will be supportive and spontaneous to everyone.
Will work for the betterment of the Institutions.
Will be sharing whatever experience I have to each and every student.
I’m looking to make a difference. From travelling the world to working in an office, playing sports to playing music, I have always given my all, pushing to have the right decisions made on issues that matter. Vote for me and I will make sure that the right decisions are made on your behalf. For we are the same; not through what we study but why we study. Why, after many arduous undergraduate years, we decided to continue our education; to better ourselves, to gain employment, to make a difference!
DEDICATED, ENTHUSIASTIC AND DETERMINED!
A few words to describe my attributes. As a postgraduate student I am fully aware of the difficulty some have with approaching the Student’s Union. I would love to be YOUR representative and YOUR voice on the Union Council.
Working with postgraduates and dealing with YOUR individual issues is a high priority. I feel confident we can work TOGETHER. My experience lends me to this position as a previous Union officer for Leicester Student’s Union. Nothing will act faster!
My name is Greg White, please vote for me to be your Postgraduate Taught officer
'Re-open nominations' provides an opportunity to call for a new election because you are not satisfied with all, or some, of the available candidates. If you are not satisfied with any of the candidates you may vote only for ‘Re-open Nominations’. If you are not satisfied with some of the candidates, then you should vote for 'Re-open nominations' after the candidates you support.
