'Student Sheffield' is an introductory guide for students, written by students. The guide includes a map of the City, fantastic vouchers and key information on what to do in Sheffield to make the most of your time here. We want to give you a great welcome to Sheffield and to showcase what this wonderful City has to offer. What better way to do so than to have six of our own students pass on their thoughts, recommendations, top tips and advice on exploring this City, soon to be called home! Download a PDF copy (1.1MB) of the guide.

'There's a very good reason that Sheffield has one of the highest graduate retention rates in the UK. Within a month of settling in, you'll have already experienced a plethora of wonderful things the city has to offer, and you're still only scratching the surface. Life in a new city can be daunting, but once you find your way around (I promise, it doesn't take that long!) you'll never want to leave. Student life in Sheffield is fantastic, and only gets better as the years go on. I'm not saying you won't miss your mum's Sunday roasts once in a while, but I am saying that there's so much to do, you might be too busy to even think about them!' CW
'Sheffield's felt like home since the moment I moved here three years ago and I find it impossible to imagine living anywhere else. It's an incredibly friendly and welcoming place and I hope you have as good a time here as I have.' SB
