Welcome to Bookable Spaces

The Students' Union offers rooms that are available for staff and students to book during term-time. All rooms and equipment are free of charge to Students' Union-recognised societies, working committees and clubs except the Auditorium, where hire charges may apply.

Students have to be members of a society/committee and should hold a current room booking card to book any of the meeting rooms. For information on how to obtain a room booking card see: How to Book a Meeting Room.

The Students' Union must also consider the risks of all its activities and has a legal responsibility for people visiting the premises, in particular for those who are more vulnerable such as children and young people. As stated above, The Gallery, Activities and Sports Zone and our bookable spaces were not designed with children in mind, but children are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult. These spaces may be booked for organised child-friendly activities, but a risk assessment must be completed first. Please contact us for more information on this.
