Sheffield StartUp Weekend

Do you have an idea for an app start up, the design and user interface skills, but need someone to help you develop it and work with you to write a sustainable business plan?

If so, pitch your idea at Sheffield StartUp Weekend and find the perfect team to make that idea happen.

This worldwide intensive weekend is sponsored by the likes of Google and Microsoft and brings together developers, designers, marketers, product managers and start up enthusiasts to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch startups.

At the end of the weekend, you'll have the opportunity to pitch your idea to a panel of judges and the winning team will get to compete in a Global StartUp Battle, with the possibility of winning a trip to Brazil or San Francisco!

Sheffield StartUp Weekend begins at 6pm on Friday 9 November at the University of Sheffield Enterprise Zone on Portobello and finishes at 9pm on Sunday 11 November. Tickets are £50 for staff for the whole weekend with breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.
