
Good news all round at the Information Commons. The Environmental Controls project has significantly improved the performance and energy efficiency of the IC’s heating and cooling systems.
Over 600 students from the University of Sheffield joined others from around the UK to demonstrate against proposed cuts of 40% to Higher Education funding.

28 students are set to benefit from the University’s Elite Sport Performance Scheme (ESPS), which has been launched this year to provide financial and non-financial support to talented student athletes at the University, who are representing England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland in one of Sport England’s recognised sports.
