Climax is Yorkshire's biggest lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and trans clubbing experience! Climax has proudly supported both Universities' LGBT committees & Sheffield’s LGBT community for over 16 years. We have two bars and a coffee shop, offering different surroundings to meet in, depending yon your mood. Eat, drink and party the night away in our lively Bar One. Sheffield University Theatre Company (SuTCo) is a student run society producing and promoting high quality student drama. Watch performances throughout the year at the nearby Drama Studio, including Humble Boy, Punk Rock, Rope, and Frankenstein this Autumn. You could even get involved yourself from performing to working backstage.

Film Unit is the oldest student run cinema in the country (63 years and counting) and is situated in the heart of the Students' Union on Level 2. Film Unit shows a diverse variety of films from world cinema to Hollywood blockbusters to independent cinema and timeless classics. We deliver a genuine cinema experience at budget prices, and with 3 or 4 different films every week there's something for everyone.
