At University, it's the opportunities you take outside of your study that can give that extra boost to your skills and future employability. Here are a few of the schemes and services at the University of Sheffield that could help you develop your skills...

  • Last year 10 students trained with the Students' Union Marketing Department and produced our 'Freeasy' water campaign. They won 'The Molson Coors Water Stewardship Award' at the NUS Green Impact Awards for their work.
  • 577 students worked at Sheffield Students' Union in 2011/12.
  • Over 300 students attended society training sessions last year.
