Walkley, Sheffield

A five minute walk along the main road from Commonside and you will find Walkley. Walkley is a great area more popular with mature and postgraduate students, and those with families.

Here students and local residents live happily alongside each other, and it's not hard to see why. Food shopping is simple, convenient and cheap here with many food shops and discount stores. An array of takeaways also means you will never be short of food in Walkley, as you can also frequent the many specialist food cafes and restaurants on offer, whether you want to go for your favourite, or try something completely different.

Pubs in Walkley are also plentiful and are great spots for socialising, which makes up for the quieter nature of the area. Regular bus services to and from the area make it a convenient and easily reachable place to live, work and socialise.
