Our Student Advice Centre offers free, professional, confidential advice on issues ranging from employment to academic studies. It also specialises in many international specific issues such as immigration issues, funding, working in the UK and bringing your family to the UK.
If you are looking for work to help subsidise your study or gain experience in related industries our Jobshop and the University's Careers Service can provide assistance. They can advise you on looking for work, writing CVs, and can provide information about National Insurance numbers (a requirement when working in the UK).
The University also provides key support services such as the Counselling Serviceand Health Service.
For students with children we also have a nursery, playscheme and International Créche. Visit our Children's Services webpage for more information.
