Come along and take advantage of having two fairs in one space! Find out about current vacancies that you can apply for on the day.
Organisations are still booking to attend the fair but we envisage that volunteering opportunities will be available in the following sector: Youth Work, Children, Elderly, Tutoring, Special Needs, Homelessness, Fundraising, Health, Environment, Sport and Refugees/Asylum Seekers.
Employers are still booking to attend the fair but with some big names already confirmed, we envisage that part-time jobs will be available in the following sectors: Marketing, Bar and Catering, Security, Care, Languages, Event Management and lots more including several university departments and the Students' Union.
There is no need to bring a CV to apply for volunteering vacancies but many of the part-time employers will be accepting CVs at the fair or asking you to complete an application form. Make sure you check out the relevant sections (including advice on preparing a CV and opportunities to have your CV reviewed). Remember to bring plenty of copies on the day!
When visiting both the part-time job and volunteering sections of the fair you may wish to consider what kind of skills you would be developing by participating in the opportunities on offer and how these could enhance your CV and ultimately improve your prospects.
