Hello and welcome to Sport Sheffield!

Whether you are a sporting fanatic or a casual badminton player we have something for you!

My name is Ben Baldwin and I am your Sport's Officer 2011/12. My role is to make sure that your sporting views, opinions and concerns are communicated and represented throughout the various sporting committees and councils at the The University of Sheffield.

I've just finished a three year course here at Sheffield and during this time I have played sport at all sorts of levels. In doing this, I have gained far more than just a healthy life style, it has helped me developed a wide skills base and gain valuable experience. I hope to be able to help you do the same with the help of Sport Sheffield and the fantastic opportunities we provide.

For me the best thing about Sport here at Sheffield is that there's something for everyone of all levels and abilities. There are countless opportunities to get involved, from the gym to the playing fields, Sport Sheffield is here to cater for your needs.

So get out those old trainers, pull on some shorts and come see us, I promise there's an opportunity for you!
