Calling All Club Societies!

The Media Hub on the 4th Floor of the Students' Union Building is home to the 500 strong student team that make up Forge Media. The good news is that we're always on the look out for new recruits.

There are 4 prongs of Forge Media - Radio, TV, Online and Press. The teams work on individual projects, and also come together to collaborate on live coverage of the big Students' Union events such as Hustings, Elections and Varsity.

We have a very diverse range of students involved, studying everything from physics to philosophy. You can learn valuable communications skills at Forge Media - Writing, Editing and Presenting. But if you're more interested in what goes on behind the scenes, there's plenty of opportunity to dive into that area too. The team will also be able to teach you many industry standard software programmes such as InDesign and Photoshop with Forge Press, iMovie at ForgeTV, Myriad and Audition at Forge Radio, and Wordpress at www.forgetoday.com.
