Theme / Design Development

If your project requires an element of publicity (which most do); familiarise yourself with the Project Brief and take some time to get creative with your team.

Identify:
What is the most important thing/s you want to tell to your audience?

From this write down associated words / themes / ideas, reflect on previous publicity or draw inspiration from designs / adverts you currently like. Try to develop a style that all your communication / material will carry and create an identity for your campaign / event. Always keep in mind you target audience & project brief.

Communication Tools

Once you have decided on your theme take a look at the A-Z of Marketing & Communication Tools For Student Groups (www.sheffieldstudentsunion.com/get-involved/societies/toolkit/marketing.php). Select the ones you want to use.

Project Plan

Assign tasks and deadlines to team members and circulate a plan of when the different parts of the project need to be achieved by so that everyone stays on track.
