Our society was founded by the Turkish speaking people of Cyprus. We hope to contribute to the diverse community of Sheffield by introducing the incredibly delicious cuisine and equally amazing lore of Cyprus, the Pearl of Mediterranean Sea.

Cyprus is rightfully famous for its diverse culture, deep history and cultural remains, its traditional cuisine, its well preserved natural life, the Karpaz Donkeys and its peaceful springs and heavenly summers; and us Turkish Cypriots are very well known for our hospitality.

One can breathe in the refreshing scent of jasmine flowers mixed with the scent of citrus leaves in a gentle breeze while walking down the streets of Nicosia and Famagusta, or enjoy the breathtaking view of the sea and of the countryside from the skirts of Besparmak Mountains (Pentadactylos/Πενταδάκτυλος) in Kyrenia, or absorb themselves into the untouched natural beauties and wildlife of Karpaz (Καρπασία) region. Not to mention the ancient ruins and historical and religious monuments spread all around the island.
