Sheffield Malaysian Students Association

Details

Sheffield Malaysian Students Association, or better known as SMSA was founded in the year 1987 with the objective of providing means of help to Malaysian students studying in the University of Sheffield. Having the full support from the Malaysian Student's Department located in London, SMSA plays an important role to cater to the needs and welfare of all Malaysian Students in Sheffield regardless of their races and religions. SMSA also tries to introduce the British community with the multicultural image of Malaysia. This is achieved through various activities that have been done such as through the annual Sheffield Malaysian Games and Nasheed Extravaganza, involvements in the World Food Festival and International Cultural Evening and also as an active member in the Students' Union. All activities that have been organized are tailored to cater to the interests of Malaysian students. SMSA works together with other student organizations to provide the opportunity for the members to blend in the multinational community. Inquisitive to know more?
