We twin Sheffield University with Estelí University, Nicaragua, through promoting awareness of the situation in Nicaragua and holding various fundraising events ranging from live music nights to BBQ's to fund educational projects at Estelí University. For the last three years we have sent a group of students from Sheffield University to Estelí to assist with various projects such as teaching and plan to continue this each year.
