Sheffield RAG is a working committee under the mighty banner of the University of Sheffield Students' Union. This means we are students who run events for students…and the local community, spreading lots of RAG love. RAG itself stands for 'Raising and Giving' and that's precisely what the cool cats on the committee are all about. We give out our free time to organise charity events in order to accumulate as much cash as possible so we can support mainly charities in the local South Yorkshire area, that need a financially helping hand. Last year, through the generosity and energy of Sheffield students, RAG raised about £163,000.

We're always updating our calendar with new events, so make sure you check it out, and this new semester is no different with bar crawls, raids, spiderwalk, firewalk, extreme events and baby bummit. Look out in the summer semester for the epic Bummit and the unforgettable RAG week, ending the year with T.H.E - Treasure Hunt Europe. Find out more on our website and get involved!
