Welcoming all players, from beginners to pros to our society!

NEW SOCIETY MEETINGS ARE FRIDAYS, SAME TIME SAME PLACE!

We play at Brookhill Hall, between the Information Commons and The Hicks Building, every Friday at 20:00. With our regular freezeout events, and occasional rebuy events, you're sure to meet new friends and have a great laugh!



We welcome players, regardless of the level of play you're at – belonging to the society gives you a valuable way of meeting other players and talking strategy, going over hands, etc. Whilst the society is based on live poker play, many of us also play online. Sites likehttp://www.pokersites.com are helpful as they let you compare the bonuses and features that various online rooms offer.


Many of our players have also improved by using poker forums such as http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerforum/ where you can learn from other players by discussing hands and strategies as well as partake in freerolls and tournaments with money added and give advice on other people's play.


We are hoping to have regular tournament on Wiliam Hill Poker in the near future and had our first one this past Sunday with a fantastic turnout. See the Facebook page for sign-up details. We also have a home game on PokerStars.
