Voted Best National Society 2011/12, and shortlisted as one of four for the Best Society of the Year award, MASSOC truly is a culturally diverse society consisting not only of Malaysians and Singaporeans, but also our brothers and sisters from Hong Kong, China, Britain, Sri Lanka, and many others. The MASSOC calendar highlights various activities both throughout and outside of the academic year, and has been heavily involved in the university's activities - which notably instills and heightens the sense of heritage in our members.

Local festivals and traditional holidays are also celebrated on an organisational level, and the plethora of social events (including sports meetings) in the club's calendar attached is a testimony to the dynamism of the organisation, and many of these are held on an annual basis.

Some of MASSOC's annual events include the Mooncake Festival, Diwali Dinner, Chinese New Year Dinner, Annual Dinner & Dance, International Trip, as well as frequent pub & bar socials, movie nights, sports socials, parties, karaoke socials, paintballing, day trips, & unofficial chill-out sessions.
