Welcome to the University of Sheffield History Society!

We at the History Society are here to cater for all your history-based education and social needs, and to ensure that your years at Sheffield studying history are as great as they can be! We're one of the biggest (and self confessed best) societies at Sheffield and we provide a huge range of services for all our members! 

So what can we offer you?

This year we're piecing together an exciting range of activities and benefits including:-

• Social events, beginning with the Freshers Bar Crawl, in September and ending with the Ball in May (with quite a few chucked in-between for good measure).
• Drinks deals and offers at bars and clubs across the city centre.
• Work experience opportunities.
• A social trip to Prague to take in the sites and err.. cheap drinks!
• Sports teams including Hockey, Netball, Rugby, Football and a new running club.
• Talks and presentations from graduates, lecturers, travellers and volunteers.
• A range of interesting as well as rewarding charity and volunteering opportunities,
• and much much more across the year...

Finally you'll be joining, as previously mentioned, one of the largest and of course best societies at the university. It's a fantastic way to meet, talk and most importantly socialise with new people from across the history course.

Cost:

£10 for one year and a discounted £25 for the full 3 years
