We're part of the biggest interdisciplinary student organisation in Europe – AEGEE.

AEGEE is known for its parties, its huge European events and its multicultural family.

(Because AEGEE is run by students, events are made as cheap as possible. You will stay in hostels or with AEGEE members at their homes and be taken to all the best places, loved by the locals, not just the tourists!)But AEGEE is also known for making a difference in Europe. Our huge organisation promotes and works for a united Europe, focussing on;

It's hard to sum AEGEE up because we do so much. But that is why it's so great. You can be an AEGEE member if you just want to travel on a student budget, make friends all across the continent and have parties you'll never forget, or you can join AEGEE because you want to make a difference to your Europe and fight for your rights. And of course, you can join because you want to do both.

Most AEGEE members join for the travelling and the parties but realise how inspirational and influential our organisation is and soon become involved in projects, working groups, committees and more. There are opportunities for everyone, and everyone is welcome to join!

AEGEE-Sheffield works at the European level but also at a local level, where you can meet different types of people at your university, not just those on the same course as you, attend European themed events and even be involved with the local committee – we're always looking for extra committee members.

Some of our events include:

-          Give It A Go European Night

-          Informal socials like ice skating, meals, pub visits

-          AEGEE Regional Training Course in Brussels – (COMING SOON – MARCH) – Learn all about AEGEE, transferable skills, explore the city and party hard like a real AEGEEan

-          Exchange with AEGEE-Groningen (Netherlands) – (COMING SOON – APRIL) – be hosted by AEGEE members in Groningen and entertained with a range of tours, activities and parties in AEGEE style for 4/5 days, all on a student budget!
