Welcome to the East African Society. This society is here to serve as being your home away from home. 

Many reasons why this is a great society: lots of great people, amazing culture, fun language(Swahili) and most importantly we are EAST AFRICANS.

This society aims to bring people together, even though we are from various backgrounds. Through many events organised by the university, such as World Food Festival (which we did win last year) and Battle of the Bands, we will be able to promote the East African pride and culture. Also, events organised by the society will be a great way for you to meet new people.

So whether you are Rwandese, Ugandan or even though you are not East African, joining this society will be the greatest decision you have ever made. Come along and experience something new. Great traditions, cultures, languages and many more.
