You probably expect a University Debating Society to be elitist, exclusive and boring; Sheffield Debating is none of these things. Here we are inclusive, friendly and fun! Come and watch for free - Coffee Revolution 7:00pm, every Monday during term.

Fancy joining in? Ever wanted to learn the art of public speaking? Or are you just sick of losing arguments with your friends? Then our workshops are for you. We are all-inclusive from beginner right up to world-class. Free - every Tuesday, 8-10pm, The Peaks (meet at 7:50 at the Union Foyer, if you don't know the way). Don't worry if you've never debated before! We embrace all, from the national standard to the novice.

Whatever your ability, being part of the Debating Society will:

• Provide hours of fun, both during debates and in the Interval bar afterwards
• Give you confidence speaking in public
• Look fantastic on your CV (that thing you'll need when you eventually graduate)
