WriteSoc is a creative writing society, covering a range of short exercises in fiction writing, dialogue and narrative structure. Anyone who enjoys writing, whether they do it purely for pleasure, or want to make a career out of it one day, is welcome to practice their technique in a low-pressure environment. Results can range from the humourous, the passionate, to the downright absurd, but it still can't be beaten as a way to wind down mid-week. It doesn't matter if you're an accomplished writer or have just started to take an interest, feedback is totally voluntary so if you want a place to build your skills and confidence, WriteSoc is the place for you!_
Meetings are Wednesday from 6-7.30pm, but location is likely to change week-by-week so we strongly recommend joining the facebook group 'Sheffield Writesoc' in order to stay in the loop.
