Sheffield Comedy Improvisation Society (SHRIMPS) is all about getting up on stage and having a laugh. No previous acting or improvisational experience is necessary. Using audience suggestions we build sketches in which characters are created, locations visited, and improbable situations acted out all the matter of a few minutes. The great thing is that it's always original and you never know what's going to happen next!

Even if your not keen on doing a show but still want a crack at comedy improv then come along to our regular Wednesday rehearsal and try it out. (Octagon Centre Council Chambers, Every Wednesday 7.30-9.30)

We'll teach you the techniques and gimmicks that make a top-notch improv show. Our group is full of friendly lovable characters who regularly endulge in socials at venues around Sheffield.
