Welcome to The Biomedical Science Society, more commonly known as BMS SOC!

We're a big presence in the Departmental Society scene, beaming brightly in our orange hoodies, making us easily recognisable in the crowds of students here at Sheffield.

We're here to give you, the BMS students, chances to meet, engage and get to know each-other as well as making a positive impact on Sheffield.
Whether it's through taking part in our fantastic socials, course-orientated volunteering, charity events or brilliant sports teams, BMS SOC will give you the chance to get involved and make some great friends along the way!

What makes us so good?

BMS SOC is adaptable and ever changing. We're made up of 9 committee members, adding 1 new Fresher at the beginning of semester 1. These people are students dedicated to organising events that you want.

We are always willing to adapt to the wants and needs of our members and thrive off your feedback to constantly make improvements and give the members what they want, so if you've got an idea let us know at bmssoc@shef.ac.uk

How to join:
You can sign up now! Enter your details into our online form (click here!) and pay the joining fee when you collect your membership card.
Alternatively you can look out for our stall at the Activities Fair, which will take place on the Thursday of Freshers(/Intro) Week. Just look for the ORANGE!
