Baha'i Society

Details

The Baha'i Faith is an independent world religion that began in the middle of the nineteenth century. This society seeks to promote the study of the Baha'i writings and their application to contemporary issues. It also seeks to promote the community-building activities that the Baha'is are engaged in - activities like classes for children, groups for junior youth, and study circles for youth and adults.

The society organises campaigns on humanitarian issues (such as the "Can You Solve This" campaign for the right of education in Iran), interacts with other faith groups, and provides information to students who wish to learn more about the Baha'i Faith.

Indeed, it would be very interesting if students were interested in entering a dialogue with Baha'is, about say economics or ecology, to see how insights from both science and religion can expand our knowledge of these fields.

We will be continuing to run activities in the next academic year so please do sign up to keep informed!
