WELCOME TO THE ARCHAEOLOGY SOCIETY UNION PAGE!!!

As a departmental society we host a range of activities and have many, many reasons why you should join. But remember, you don't even have to be taking an archaeology degree: EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Here's what we can offer:

• Bar Crawls to your favorite pubs and Clubs in Sheffield (past themes include Pub Golf, Toga Party and Rubix Cube Night!)
• The Longest Lecture Series provided by any society (12 Lectures!). Past lecture topics include everything from Neanderthal emotions to Medieval malaria with lecturers visiting from Universities all over the country.
• Workshops (Last year we did flint knapping)
• Sports teams
• Hoodies with our fantastic logo on, the University logo and your name.
• Trip abroad (past trips include Dublin and Amsterdam)

A chance to meet new people!

How to join the society: 

• Come and see us at the Activities and Societies Fairs in the Octagon Building in Freshers Week and meet the committee in person. (Date TBC)
• Meet us in the Archaeology Department on selected dates to buy your membership (dates tbc)
• Message us on Facebook/Twitter/Email to arrange membership
• Buy membership at any of our events (Bar crawls/lecture series)
