Bringing together Africans, Caribbeans and others interested in getting to know more about Afro-Caribbean culture. The ACS is dedicated to creating a forum where Afro-Caribbean Culture is celebrated and important issues also discussed.

The society is famous for its successful social events, however there are numerous other events which the society holds such as career talks and participation in the students union national events. Current winners of the Battle of the Bands competition, the ACS is dedicated to providing an avenue for its members to enjoy their time at university as well as plan for the future.
