Welcome to the Inter-Faith section - a chance to explore the inter-faith work that occurs at the University of Sheffield and the Students' Union, and how you can get involved and find out more. Inter-faith is for everyone, whether you have a faith or are without faith, read on to find out why it is an important matter for everyone!
Inter-Faith work is so crucial to highlight the different faiths present within Sheffield University campus and why faith is important - and to increase understanding, tolerance and appreciation. It not only opens a a dialogue between the faith societies, and students from the faith groups, but also to reach out to students WITHOUT faith, and see the similarities between the two! Faith is important on campus, and everyone should be aware of this during their time at University.
Why not take a peek at the Chaplaincy Service? In a fast-moving and increasingly impersonal world, the Chaplaincy offers a personal approach. Our Chaplains and Religious Advisers offer care and support to people of all faiths and none. We work with communities with a strong sense of belonging, and we offer opportunities for worship, prayer and spiritual exploration.
